About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team at Excibit Solutions Spain. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying modern software engineering & delivery practices using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in hands-on Java planning, development, deployment, and adoption of modern software engineering & delivery practices.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements and translate technical requirements into programmed application modules.
  • Build software and tools that increase the development velocity of every engineer without sacrificing quality.
  • Tackle interesting and challenging problems on large-scale datasets, high performance, availability, and reliability requirements.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, performance marketing, analytics, and others throughout the business to provide input into the end-to-end customer experience.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of advanced knowledge of architecture, microservices, and designing enterprise applications.
  • 2+ years' experience and strong expertise in object-oriented languages and design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with Java and the Spring framework is preferred.
  • Development experience with any of the following is a strong plus: Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, REST, Scala.
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning and a willingness to adopt new technologies.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement, along with a great attitude, solid communication skills, willingness to learn, and collaborate.
  • Good understanding of Agile development methodology and techniques.
  • Fluent in English.
