About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at AgileEngine. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments on Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Environment Design and Deployment: Collaborate with our solution delivery teams and customers to understand their infrastructure requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  2. Cloud Environment Maintenance: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
  3. Database Management: Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL to ensure efficient and reliable data storage in the cloud.
  4. Infrastructure as Code: Use infrastructure as code tools to automate cloud deployments.
  5. Cloud Monitoring: Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and security.
  6. Troubleshooting: Use a structured troubleshooting approach to identify and resolve cloud-related issues.
  7. Kubernetes Environment Development: Develop and maintain Kubernetes environments to support application deployments.
  8. Network Configuration: Troubleshoot and configure network settings in cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and integration in the cloud.
  10. Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure cloud requirements are met.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Azure Experience: Azure experience, preferably certified.
  3. Infrastructure as Code Tools: Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  4. Container Orchestration: Experience with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes.
  5. Client-Facing Experience: Client-facing experience in deployments/installations.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent English and communication skills.
  7. Travel: The candidate must travel for a device pickup and occasionally travel to one of the offices.
  8. Language: Upper-intermediate English level.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. AWS and Google Cloud Experience: Proficiency in AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
  2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. Linux and Windows Server Administration: Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows Server administration.
  4. Bash and PowerShell Scripting: Strong proficiency with bash and PowerShell scripting.
  5. Terraform Bundles: Experience with creating Terraform Bundles.
  6. Airgap Environment Deployment: Experience deploying within an Airgap environment.
  7. Database Familiarity: Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL.
  8. Microservice-Based Application Deployment: Experience deploying and troubleshooting a microservice-based application (Container registry, helm charts, image manipulation, and debugging pods).
  9. Cloud Security Best Practices: Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
  10. Network Configuration: Experience troubleshooting and configuring network settings in cloud platforms.
  11. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  12. Flexibility: Flexible hours but able to work a set schedule.
  13. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
