Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Finance domain at our Málaga office. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our data platform, which is the backbone of our business. You will work closely with our Finance and Product teams to coordinate and automate financial reporting across all jurisdictions, as well as consolidated reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model data in our collaborative data platform to build critical financial reports
  • Manage end-to-end finance solutions across all jurisdictions of the company from requirements gathering, building optimised data models and delivering the reports to our finance stakeholders and auditors
  • Maintain and build dashboards and visualisations on the data platform using our BI tools for Senior management and finance specialists
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in Data/Business Analytics - applied to Finance is a plus
  • Advanced SQL skills - must be able to read and write complex SQL queries
  • Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, LookerStudio), Looker
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage, organise and present data in a clear, concise and actionable format
  • Experience working with Python is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Track record of working autonomously with time management skills
  • Fluency in English (Spanish, a plus)
  • Financial Reporting experience is desirable but not mandatory
  • Financial Services and Capital Markets Experience (FX, Payments, Money Markets, Treasury Management, etc) is desirable but not mandatory
