Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our Data Platform, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data delivery to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy ELT/ETL data pipelines from various data sources, including transactional databases, REST APIs, and file-based endpoints.
  • Collaborate with the team to reinforce best practices across the platform, promoting a shared commitment to quality and data governance.
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to develop and maintain data models, ensuring accurate and complete data delivery.
  • Manage pipeline orchestration using Airflow, hosted in Cloud Composer, and execute using GCP hosted services such as Container Registry, Artifact Registry, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and GKE.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and refine existing processes, reducing technical debt and improving overall platform efficiency.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering, with a strong background in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes on big data environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with knowledge of software engineering practices in data (SDLC, RFC, etc.).
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
  • Experience with our modern Data stack tools, including Google Cloud Platform, Apache Airflow, and dbt Cloud, is a plus.
