Director of Cybersecurity

Job Summary: Reconocida empresa is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of our security and compliance programs. This is a critical role that will require a strong leader to oversee the protection of our organization's assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead Security Team: Lead a team of security professionals responsible for the implementation and maintenance of security controls, incident response, and security awareness training.
  3. Ensure Compliance: Ensure that the organization's security and compliance programs are in place and effective, including adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Manage Security Risks: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to the organization, including threats to data, systems, and personnel.
  5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and Legal, to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organization.
  6. Develop and Manage Budget: Develop and manage the security budget, including resource allocation and cost management.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the organization's security posture.

Requirements:

Experience in a senior security leadership role, with a strong background in security strategy, risk management, and compliance. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security programs, and leading high-performing security teams. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
