Job Title: Research Editor, Due Diligence

About the Role

Dow Jones is seeking a highly skilled Research Editor to join our Due Diligence team. As a Research Editor, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality reports on companies and/or individuals using a combination of publicly-available sources and proprietary databases.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure reports are timely, complete, and accurate
  2. Translate complex information from other languages into English
  3. Compile and summarize information from multiple sources, presenting it in a clear and concise manner
  4. Test new or enhanced system and product functionality
  5. Support training of future team members
  6. Contribute to both team and product-initiated projects
  7. Provide translation services as needed

Requirements

  1. Excellent English writing skills
  2. Fluency in English and Portuguese, with additional languages a plus
  3. Knowledge of and interest in international affairs and politics
  4. Strong research skills, including online search tools
  5. An openness to diverse views and opinions, with an appreciation for team diversity

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in Due Diligence
  2. Specialist knowledge of law, business, or finance
