Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer

Career Renew is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and resilient backend services that process millions of API requests monthly.

About the Role

You will work closely with our team to make key architectural decisions, iterate on the product roadmap, own product decisions, and architect & build our foundational tech platform. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, backend development, and DevOps will be crucial in driving the success of our product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute on our technology roadmap, transitioning from early-stage prototypes to scalable and resilient full-scale production backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and the company's overarching strategy.
  • Integrate with web3 technologies and protocols, emphasizing secure connections, data flow, and adaptability to the evolving needs of the business and market trends.
  • Mentor and recruit team members to grow our culture.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 4+ years of experience in backend/DevOps development.
  • Extensive experience with TypeScript.
  • Previous work with cloud infrastructure in GCP, Virtual Machines, CI/CD pipelines, RPC, and nodes.
