Job Title: Software Business Analyst

Are you an experienced software business analyst looking for a new challenge? Do you want to be part of a team that provides innovative solutions to dental professionals and patients around the world?

About the Role

We are seeking a talented software business analyst to join our team at Straumann Group Software Centre in Madrid. As a software business analyst, you will play a key role in defining, modifying, and reviewing functional and non-functional specifications/requirements. You will work closely with our development team and dental professionals stakeholders to provide fully detailed technical documentation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and review specifications and requirements, documentation.
  • Document, challenge, and clarify PMs requirements.
  • Interact with medical professionals to better understand requirements and collect feedback on software products developed.
  • Ensure alignment between business needs, UX designs, and technical specs.
  • Manage development team.
  • Assist the PM in acceptance tests.
  • Test product backlog items in integration env. and dev.
  • Protect team from outside interruptions and distractions.
  • Finds opportunities for collaboration across international teams, works on cross-team commitments, and achieves scale by enabling the work of others.
Requirements
  • Higher education in software engineering, computer science, or a comparable field (e.g. medical informatics, healthcare electronics).
  • Software developer with experience on design, coding, debugging, experience as a teamwork, and communication leader.
  • 4+ years of experience shipping commercial software in a role as BA or product manager.
  • Real-world experience on SCRUM.
  • Analysis of software requirements and definition of software tasks.
  • Alignment between business needs, UX designs, and technical specs.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
  • Experience on Atlassian Confluence.
Desirable
  • Development skills such as backend and front-end frameworks (Spring, TypeScript, React JS).
  • Experience with healthcare software.
  • Knowledge in FHIR standards.
  • Professional fluency in English.
