About Our Partner
Smurfit Westrock is a leading provider of paper-based packaging solutions, operating in 40 countries with 500+ packaging converting plants. As a trusted partner, we are seeking a skilled Angular Frontend Architect to join our distributed team in Málaga and contribute to the development of Smurfit Westrock's internal business application.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to defining the technical strategy for the front-end development team.
- Create and define the frontend architecture for Smurfit Westrock's applications.
- Conduct proof-of-concept tests for new technologies/libraries/tools to be implemented.
- Participate in meetings with the product owner to translate business requirements for the development team.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in the code developed by the team.
- Engage in pair programming regularly among team members to provide guidance and support.
- Participating in decisions about the graphical interface of the applications would be nice to have.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Frontend Angular Developer.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in software architecture design/types.
- Experience developing high-quality and maintainable software, leveraging best practices such as clean code, pair programming, SOLID principles, etc.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular (2x).
- Experience in Angular libraries like RxJS and NgRx is a must-have.
- Knowledge and experience in Apollo and Websockets.
- Work with best practices that include robust unit testing coverage.
- Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or any other relevant field.
