About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Natural Language Processing team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary group, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated AI systems for text parsing and job-candidate recommendation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-availability, performance, and concurrency-focused systems for semantic search and résumé parsing.
  • Contribute to team discussions and propose new topics to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Analyze existing code and perform refactors to enhance code quality and maintainability.
  • Perform code review and detect and fix problems in production environments.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote and apply best practices throughout the development process.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior software developer, with a focus on backend development.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, including implementing search solutions in production environments and optimizing clusters for efficient processing of large volumes of data.
  • Fluency in Java or PHP, with a strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and take on projects with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous DevOps experience, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in developing and deploying scalable and efficient systems.
