Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Engineer to join our team at Q Energy. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing all stages of project design, from conceptual to advanced system design, ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project design, including conceptual and advanced system design, observing regulatory codes and customer requirements.
- Act as technical supervisor on site during the construction phase and project implementation, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure quality and execution according to schedule.
- Develop and review energy production models, project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers.
- Create, deliver, and maintain drawing packages, specifications for suppliers and sub-contractors, and technical project documentation.
- Manage and coordinate external resources, such as structural, civil, and electrical engineer consultants, geotechnical and topographic surveyors, or other specialized professionals as needed in the design and commissioning of photovoltaic systems.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in project designs, plans, processes, and product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- 5 years of professional experience in the photovoltaic industry, ideally in an international business environment.
- Experience in leading projects from a technical side, working independently on tasks from beginning to completion.
- A valid driver's license.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, any other language is a plus.
