Global Workplace Sustainability Leader

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our global workplace sustainability efforts. As a key member of our real estate team, you will be responsible for driving performance, compliance, and transformation across our real estate value chain.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a global workplace policy that aligns with our company's sustainability goals and values.
- Collaborate with our global sustainability teams to engage, run, and animate global initiatives and overall real estate ambition to convert our portfolio to net zero carbon trajectory.
- Develop and maintain governance and duties on post-merger integration of Schneider Electric delegated entities, ensuring compliance to our real estate trust standards and identifying opportunities to consolidate into our portfolio.
- Deploy and enrich the global workplace policy across our four pillars (digital and sustainable, inclusive and welcoming, innovative and collaborative, effective and resilient) based on learnings from Schneider Electric sites, collaboration with other global functions (HR, IT, Digital Buildings, Sustainability, Security, etc), and external benchmark.
- Establish and deploy Schneider Electric's global design book, taking inspiration from our company DNA, culture, core values, workplace essentials, and B2B dimension.
- Lead overall real estate ambition on sustainability, ensuring close collaboration with corporate sustainability and GSC SERE departments (Impact Horizon 2030).
- Animate real estate community to develop a true sustainability mindset, from vision purpose to operational toolkit deployment (low carbon design to build, circular economy, energy sobriety, etc).
- Ensure due diligence support to PMI governance team (acquisition, divestiture).
- Run Trust Standards audit and ensure compliance of in-scope entities for real estate domain.
- Work closely with real estate digital team, finance, and Post MA functions to run proper integration of targeted delegated entities and identify early opportunities of consolidation into core Schneider Electric portfolio ('simplification').
- 10+ years of experience in the real estate industry, with specific focus on construction work segment combined with sustainability exposure.
- Knowledgeable in real estate (MRICS certification or equivalent), certification in Sustainability as a plus.
