Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in a participatory research project focused on the health impacts of heat on agricultural migrant workers. The postdoctoral researcher will be based in the research group of Dr. Ana Requena, with co-supervision from Dr. Xavier Basagaña and Dr. Michelle Turner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on vulnerable populations and occupational health, including migrant workers, climate change, and occupational heat exposure in national and international projects.
- Apply participatory research and co-creation methods to ensure the project's success.
- Collaborate with the Science and Society group to incorporate participatory methodologies into healthcare provision and health-related research areas.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, epidemiology, or a related field, with experience in research and project management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
