About Us

Enverus is a leading provider of industry-leading solutions for the energy industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to help us formalize our current data analytics capabilities, create new metrics, and design new data collection methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, statistics, and project management, and will be able to work closely with our business stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to help them improve their data analytics capabilities by creating new dashboards and thinking about new metrics.
  • Design data collection methods and data models around app usage.
  • Automate manual data processes being done across teams.
  • Assist with root cause analysis to answer specific business questions.
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to communicate needs to the engineering org and blockers to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, project management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and SQL.
  • Exposure to Snowflake is a plus.
  • Experience designing dashboards.
  • Exposure to PowerBI is a plus.
  • Experience with event-driven analytics and data modeling.
  • Capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex business activities, technical requirements, and recommendations.
  • Strong analytics skills and problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to finding data to complete a task or designing a process to collect the data needed.
  • A proactive approach and suggesting new analytics to teams is also important.
  • Automating complex data pipelines and workflow orchestration using tools like Prefect is a plus.
