Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Bid Strategist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for creating and managing the bid process for innovation challenges, from developing detailed, costed, and persuasive proposals to winning contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation bid strategy to advance Mitiga's strategic goals
  • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer and interact with the commercial, R&D, and technology teams to gather insights for developing winning proposals
  • Create detailed, costed, and persuasive proposals that close deals, utilizing exceptional writing skills in English
  • Research, write, and validate proposals to carve out Mitiga's unique selling points and understand clients' specific requirements
  • Support the commercial team in their own commercial tenders and public grants
  • Develop budgets and respond to prospects' queries before, during, and after the bid has been submitted

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling proposals
  • Strong command of both data and visual storytelling
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, shaping and executing your own innovation bid strategy
  • Strong team player, eager to collaborate with the Mitiga team
  • Experience in creating and managing the bid process for innovation challenges

About You

We're looking for someone with a go-getter attitude who won't rest until every nook and cranny has been explored for bid opportunities. You will bring your A game in terms of researching, writing, and validating proposals.
