Data Insights Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Analyst to join our team at 1011 Amadeus It Group S.A. as a key member of our industrial applications team. As a Data Insights Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining industrializable apps, reports, and dashboards using Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and similar tools.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user objectives.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Connect to and prepare data sources for analysis; build data models.
- Calculate metrics and KPIs.
- Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports that effectively communicate data insights.
- Test apps and reports for accuracy and performance.
- Conduct User Acceptance Tests (UAT) and iterate designs based on user feedback.
- Deploy apps and reports to the production environment and automate report distribution when applicable.
- Regularly maintain and update apps and reports to ensure they meet business needs and incorporate new data sources or insights.
- Support ad-hoc data and reporting needs by clarifying specific questions or objectives, gathering relevant data, analyzing it, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Provide user support and upskilling on apps, reports, and dashboards in Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, and other tools, and on general Data Literacy topics.
- Support users in interpreting data, metrics, and KPIs, and turning them into actionable insights.
- Contribute to the preparation and facilitation of upskilling sessions, including creating training materials, presenting during training sessions, and conducting Q&A.
- Contribute to the creation of info and self-learning materials (e.g., quick cards, user guides, how-to videos).
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analyst role, preferably in a software or travel company.
- Experience working with data visualization tools (ideally Qlik Sense and Power BI).
- Familiarity with databases and data models, along with programming expertise (for example R, Python, SQL).
- Advanced statistical knowledge and mathematics; build statistical algorithms; regression models.
- Strong understanding of business objectives and the ability to align work with company goals and priorities.
- Fluency in English, any other language will be a plus.
