Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels and demand management activities to support the A400M Global Support contract. This contract is a key In-Service Support solution for Airbus Defence and Space, providing material availability support to core nations flying the A400M platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and implementation of internal processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maximize advanced planning of spare parts, balancing financial constraints and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a solid business model with various functions supporting MRO activities worldwide for customers under a Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) contract.
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions and support acquisition for new projects.
  • Advance planning and forecasting processes to maximize spare parts availability, contributing to customer fleet availability and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Supply Chain and logistics areas, including APICs and logistics certifications.
  • Appreciated past experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to deal with large data sets and advanced skills in office packages (Excel and Access).
  • SAP R/3 (Logistic-Production module) expert level, with work experience in production, planning, inventory, and purchase orders management transactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
