CNC Machinist

At Motor Specialty Inc, we are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

• Plan and program machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
• Verify settings and specifications by measuring positions and sample workpieces.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

• 2+ years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and general mathematical ability.
• Ability to read and interpret reports and spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in using Mazak Horizontal Machine, Haas Vertical Mill, and Lathe Drill Press.

• Experience with Mazak Horizontal Machine and Haas Vertical Mill.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a non-toxic environment.
