About the Role
The Director of Supply Chain will oversee the efficient flow of goods, services, and information among OEMs, suppliers, and customers. This leader will provide strategic guidance to the planning, purchasing, and procurement, warehousing, customer service, and logistics teams to achieve the Operations Department's key objectives: delivering high-quality service, managing costs effectively, and ensuring lean processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, purchasing, and procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Operations VP to set departmental goals and objectives, and contribute to the development of the company's overall business strategy.
- Manage the warehousing and logistics teams to ensure seamless inventory management, order fulfillment, and delivery.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the customer service team to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. A deep understanding of supply chain management principles, processes, and best practices is essential, as is the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational organization, is highly desirable.
