About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at GMV, where you will play a key role in designing and developing software systems for space missions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Software System Design: Design and develop software systems that represent different elements of a space mission, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  2. Java Development: Develop and unit test software products in Java, with a focus on performance optimization and quality.
  3. Integration and Orchestration: Integrate and orchestrate algorithms in a unified application, ensuring seamless communication between components.
  4. System Testing: Conduct thorough system testing to ensure the software meets the required standards.
  5. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate the results of validation and correction of errors to the team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  6. Infrastructure Support: Provide support for the deployment and maintenance of software infrastructures, including continuous integration, GIT, dockers, and other relevant tools.
Requirements
  1. Software Engineering Experience: Proven experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java programming.
  2. Java Proficiency: Proficiency in Java programming, with experience in developing complex software applications.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience in GIT, Dockers, and agile methodology, as well as Linux operating system.
  4. Space Application Development: Previous experience and knowledge in developing space applications using Python and/or C++.
  5. Performance Optimization: Experience in software benchmarking and performance optimization.
