We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse, specializing in the development of inspection systems for nuclear and aeronautical applications.
Main Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and fine-tune new applications for inspection systems and their prototypes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and performance of developed products.
- Generate documentation according to existing procedures.
- Perform tests and diagnostics at nuclear plants and customer facilities.
- Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a software development engineer.
- Knowledge of software lifecycle management tools, including C++, C#,.Net, WinForms, WPF, databases, SQL, Git, and DevOps.
- Automated tests, bug tracking, and minimum B2 English level.
- Communication and teamwork skills in an international environment.
- Availability for frequent trips to inspection sites.
- Computer graphics, agile methodologies, programming of electronic devices, parallel data processing, and Non-Destructive Testing.
