Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Junior Product Owner to join our team. As a Junior Product Owner, you will play a vital role in shaping and driving the development of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define product features and requirements.
- Product Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise product documentation using Coda.
- Project Management: Work closely with our dev team to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Design and Prototyping: Use prototyping and wireframing tools to translate product needs into clear, actionable designs.
- Launch Planning: Support the execution of product launch plans and marketing strategies.
- User Research: Assist in translating user needs and business objectives into viable product tasks, define hypotheses, and validate experiments.
- Product Backlog Management: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the product backlog.
- Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile methodologies, such as sprint planning, backlog preparation, and retrospectives, to keep things moving smoothly.
- Prioritization and Sequencing: Assist in prioritizing and sequencing product features based on business value and customer impact. Gather and analyze user feedback to find ways to improve and innovate.
- Documentation and Communication: Assist in documenting and communicating product requirements and user stories.
- Metrics and Analysis: Monitor and analyze product metrics and reports to identify areas of improvement.
- Market Research: Dive into market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the game.
- Project Tracking: Manage JIRA project tracking software.
- Education: Currently studying or recently finished a degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Jira for task and project management and Coda for documentation is a plus.
- Methodologies: Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Work Environment: Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.
- Language: Fluency in Spanish and English languages.
- Hands-on Experience: Get hands-on experience in product management at a growing startup.
