About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Language Data Curator to join our team. As a Language Data Curator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and tracking large amounts of language data from our voice assistant software. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and validating language fixes and software improvements
  • Collaborating with our international testing team and engineers to reproduce issues and test features
  • Ensuring data localization for specific locales

About Your Day-to-Day

As a Language Data Curator, you will focus on the international aspects of our personal voice assistant software. Your tasks will include:

  • Hands-on reviewing and modeling of voice assistant utterances through software tools
  • Interaction with international testing teams and engineers to help reproduce issues and test features

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Native fluency in the language and culture of one of the following locales: French (from Canada)
  • Fluency in English (if not native)
  • Foundational knowledge of linguistics, particularly phonetics
  • Cultural awareness and up-to-date exposure to pop culture, country politics, etc.
  • Flexibility to respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to track, analyze, and report issues
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ML/NLP solutions
