Job Title: Video Game Translator: Dutch

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced English to Dutch video game translator to join our Localization Department in Málaga, Spain. As a video game translator, you will be responsible for localizing games to your native language, ensuring the highest quality standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Localize games to Dutch, adhering to established processes and project instructions
  • Take full ownership of each phase in the project life cycle, successfully completing tasks and deadlines to the highest standards
  • Support and help other team members, aligning with Localsoft's confidentiality and security policy
  • Work with a professional international team in a dynamic and friendly work environment

Requirements:

  • Excellent native language skills in Dutch
  • University degree in Translation, plus 2 years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry or 5 years of full-time translation/editing experience in the games industry (or similar)
  • Able to localize a minimum of 2000 words per day with the highest quality standards and respecting deadlines
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills, proactive and positive attitude
  • IT literacy: Microsoft Office suite and CAT tool
