Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary:
The Laboratory Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials and finished feeds. He is responsible for conducting laboratory tests, evaluating mycotoxin levels, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in laboratory work, good laboratory practices, and a basic knowledge of laboratory analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory tests on raw materials and finished feeds
• Evaluate mycotoxin levels, including Aflatoxin, T-2/HT-2 Toxin, Zearalenone, Deoxynivalenol (DON), Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, and Salmonella Testing
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory results and inventory
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Collaborate with quality assurance supervisors for reports and documentation
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

Requirements:
• Minimum of one (1) year background in laboratory work
• Graduate of BS Chemistry or any related Science Degree Course
• Physically fit with no allergies to feed dust and chemical reagents
• Background in Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point
• Basic knowledge of laboratory analysis skills
