The Role
We are seeking an IT Security Engineer to join our Information Systems Security global team. As a key member of our team, you will design, deliver, and support security solutions and components used to provide Security Services globally within Roche.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate security solutions to protect our global network and systems.
- Ensure the lifecycle and capacity planning for all security and technology components.
- Maintain an inventory of assets, software, and hardware.
- Operationally manage and support the security infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and deliver new technologies to enhance our security posture.
- Focus on self-development to create actionable plans to improve our security processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of technical experience designing, deploying, and supporting security solutions, including Network Access Control and Next Generation Firewalls.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, trends, and best practices.
- Working experience in a qualified and validated environment.
- Strong hands-on technical security skills, operational background, and working experience with security technologies and underlying infrastructure.
- Demonstrated willingness to cross-train and learn additional expertise related to operational activities.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and commitment to operational excellence skills.
