About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Abalia Consulting Sl. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for multiple products using GitLab CI/CD.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts and code for extensive test and deployment coverage, automating processes to improve efficiency.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for the deployment of various environments using Terraform.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams across the globe to implement DevOps practices, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux command line, shell scripting, PowerShell, and experience with cloud platforms and services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Automation and Scripting: Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, GitLab, GitHub, or Chef, and container management tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and AKS.
  • Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, dotnet, Python, or Rust.
  • Security and Compliance: Experience with threat detection, security protocols, security audits, and security scanning tools.
  • Atlassian Tool Suite: Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a strong ability to work in a team environment.
