About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our team at EPAM Systems. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing solutions across a wide range of problem areas in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive results, productivity, quality, and value for the client, respecting their deadlines and objectives but also being an honest, realistic and committed partner to them
  • Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools & approaches
  • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
  • Identify and manage risks and flag major issues early
Requirements
  • Strong Testing skills (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, Mock frameworks)
  • 3+ years of experience in an OOP language (Java, C#, C++...)
  • Wide experience in Python Core, OOP, Dependency Injection and SQL
  • RESTful services concepts
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts
  • Previous experience working with code management tools and working from a checked-in code base
  • Strong communication skills
