Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Sony Pictures Entertainment. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Marketing Director in maintaining and exceeding high standards in all aspects of Digital Home Entertainment and TV Distribution marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Marketing Budget Management: Manage marketing budget, campaign, and product P&L on allocated SPE feature film launches across all Transactional Home Entertainment new releases and catalogue campaigns.
  2. Feature Film Pitch Process: Support the Feature Film pitch process with key partners, to help excite and engage them about upcoming releases and licensing opportunities.
  3. Campaign Management: Ensure all media, digital, and creative agencies are briefed and closely managed through the campaign process, ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard.
  4. Franchise and Catalogue Planning: Ensure franchise and catalogue plans and opportunities are brought to the relevant commercial teams in a timely and engaging fashion to ensure we are best monetizing SPEs lucrative film library.
  5. Social Media Management: Collaborate with the appointed agency to manage and coordinate, review, and approve all social media activity on a monthly basis.
  6. Industry Insight and Trend Analysis: Ensure industry insight, future trends, and competitor tracking are utilized to drive new innovative marketing solutions across titles.
  7. Post-Mortem Analysis: Conduct post-mortems to assess ROI in conjunction with Marketing, Commercial, and Finance, ensuring 'Best Practice' Sharing with Western Europe Regional team.
TV Series Pre-Sales Support
  1. Proactive Pre-Sales Marketing: Support the Marketing Director in driving a proactive pre-Sales marketing approach for all new, returning, and priority TV Series.
  2. Marketing Support Materials: Deliver promptly on requests for marketing support materials from the Sales Team, including Decks, E-blasts, Trailers, and Promos, etc., and briefing in-house and external agencies where required.
  3. Asset Sourcing and Delivery: Support TV clients with timely sourcing and delivery of asset requirements.
Internal and External Relationships
  1. Creative and Media Agency Management: Act as the main point of contact for creative and media agencies.
  2. Retail Partner Management: Act as the main marketing contact for retail partners for asset and metadata requests.
  3. International Collaboration: Build strong relationships with marketing counterparts in other territories, particularly the UK-based regional Western Europe team.
  4. Commercial and Sales Planning Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal Commercial and Sales Planning colleagues.
  5. Event Planning and Execution: Support the Marketing Director in the organisation and delivery of in-market live and virtual screening events.
  6. PR Agency Liaison and Social Media Asset Provision: Provide additional support where required, including PR agency liaison on content plans, access to social media assets, and general activation support for the transactional business.
  7. Localised Product Asset Creation: Work with the LA office to obtain and approve localised product assets and create bespoke materials to be used across retail and media platforms.
Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting
  1. Internal Marketing Calls and Reporting: Attend all internal marketing calls, both Western Europe and Home Office, and act as the point person for reporting back to the team on highlights and key information shared.
  2. Post-Campaign Reporting: Support the Marketing Director by driving and owning the creation and delivery of post-campaign reports for all major title releases, including performance and key learnings to also help inform future campaigns.
  3. Partner Store Monitoring: Check partner stores weekly to confirm that our titles are being featured as agreed, that the correct packshots and translated synopses have been used, and reporting back on any issues.
  4. Release Date and Spend Tracking: Create and update various spreadsheets for the home entertainment department, including release date and spend tracking, and monitor competitive activity.
  5. Purchase Orders and Vendor Management: Create purchase orders and set up and edit new vendors in our systems.
  6. Translation and Proofreading: Assist with translations and proofreading where required.
  7. TV Release Trackers and Spreadsheets: Updating TV release trackers and spreadsheets.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: Typically, a bachelor's degree in marketing and 2+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably in the entertainment or media sector.
  2. Proven Track Record: Proven track record in delivering creative, innovative, and commercial marketing campaigns in a complex multi-faceted organization or environment.
  3. Project Management: Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects in a dynamic / changing environment and seeing those projects through to completion.
  4. Agency Management: Experience of managing agencies and third parties.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills required and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  6. Influencing and Negotiation: Ability to influence, negotiate, and persuade others.
  7. Business Acumen: Business-minded, commercially focused.
  8. Team Player: Self-motivated team player and facilitator.
  9. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in both Spanish and English is expected.
