About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Sage X3 team in Barcelona. As a key member of our global team, you will design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products and systems that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the X3 Platform, applying a broad knowledge of software development principles and practices.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software, working closely with product managers to shape product definition and ensure flexibility, extensibility, and robustness.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technology areas, automating tasks through appropriate tools and scripting, and evaluating progress and results to recommend major changes in procedures.
  • Partner effectively with team members to deliver against commitments, providing deep technical expertise and mentoring junior members of the development team.
  • Work cross-functionally with various Sage teams to drive forward results, maintaining relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing, and changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • High level of English proficiency.
  • 5-8 years of working experience as a software developer, with proven experience in using a TDD approach, SOLID design principles, and Git/GitHub.
  • Proficient in C/C++/JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in other languages such as SQL Server/Oracle and Linux/OSX development.
