Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Food and Beverage team as a trainee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and learning the ins and outs of the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Learn to take customer orders and deliver food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop skills in using our point-of-sale system, including entering orders and making corrections as necessary.
  • Gain knowledge of our menu offerings and be able to make recommendations to guests.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests to ensure a smooth and accurate transition of information.
  • Participate in all aspects of the Food and Beverage department, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a hotel or tourism-related education program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Availability to commit to at least 6 months, with a minimum of 5 days per week and 40 hours of practice per week.
