We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Centre of Industrial Electronics (CEI) at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). The successful candidate will be involved in research activities related to RISC-V architectures for aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of RISC-V ISA extensions and hardware accelerators for safety-critical applications.
- Apply safety techniques for RISC-V-based SoCs, including dual-lock, ECCs, and scrubbing.
- Customize RISC-V architectures for space and defense applications.
- Design and implement physical RISC-V-based SoCs and dynamic reconfiguration systems.
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Previous research experience in digital hardware design, VHDL, and high-level synthesis tools for FPGAs.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Knowledge of RISC-V processors and cryptographic solutions is an asset.
- A 3-year PhD contract with health insurance coverage.
- A gross salary between €35,000 and €45,000, depending on experience.
- Expenses for attending conferences, summer schools, and workshops will be covered.
