Cybersecurity Engineer Intern: Automotive Technology

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to join our team at AVL Iberica. As an intern, you will play a key role in assisting our cybersecurity team in identifying, analyzing, and evaluating cybersecurity risks associated with our automotive products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential security threats.
- Support the development of security concepts and strategies to ensure the integrity of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify and validate implemented security solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous monitoring of in-field products for potential security threats.
- Assist in consulting activities to help our clients improve their security methods and processes.
- Develop and enhance our in-house developed tools for various activities along the development lifecycle.
- Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- Enrolled student in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and evaluate cybersecurity risks and information.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey ideas and findings.
- Ability to work in a structured environment and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
- Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity measures and automotive technologies is a plus.
- Interest in the field of automotive cybersecurity.
