About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer Sr. to join our team. As a leader in the Manufacturing area, you will oversee production tasks, collaborate with our R&D team to create prototypes, and lead a team of experts to produce high-end technological systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the Manufacturing area, encompassing production, quality control, and logistics subareas.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to prototype our R&D projects.
• Work with the COO to develop the strategy for the area.
• Spearhead the industrialization process of our systems.
• Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in electronics or equivalent field.
• Proven hands-on experience in cabling manufacturing, surface-mount device (SMD) soldering, and mechanical assembly processes, preferably within a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and eagerness to learn about and explore the application of emerging technologies in manufacturing processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in production planning methodologies and tools, such as ERP systems, capacity planning software, and lean manufacturing principles, to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets.
• Experience in verification and validation (V&V) processes, including manufacturing peer reviews, to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with laboratory measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, analyzer...).
• Soft Skills: methodical and organized person, used to working in a dynamic and flexible environment, autonomy and responsibility, ability to take on new challenges.
Other Skills
• Fluent in both English and Spanish languages.
• Knowledge of Office tools.
• Ability in effective analysis and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of electronics schematics, datasheets, and technical instructions.
