Overview:
Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) operates a Commercial division in Madrid, focusing on the Spanish and Portuguese markets. The team is composed of a Commercial Director and two Relationship Managers, dedicated to enhancing sales activities directed at local entities while ensuring exceptional service quality for our international clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive Product Market Analysis for the designated region and product lines:
- Examine, assess, and document the Broker Dealer landscape in the area.
- Investigate, evaluate, and document the Wealth Management and Alternative Asset Management sectors.
- Analyze, review, and document the Insurance and Pension Fund markets.
- Compile and maintain an updated directory of Tier 2 and Tier 3 Asset Management firms in the region along with their custody service providers.
- Assist in performing a thorough Product Gap Analysis based on market insights and existing product offerings within SGSS:
- Focus on the Broker Dealer and Asset Management segments.
- Support SGSS Global Sales Facilitation teams by contributing locally to cross-functional processes, including Sales Planning, mid-year evaluations, defining the Prospecting Universe, and tracking deals and meetings.
Eligibility Criteria:
Due to the specific requirements of the VIE program, candidates will be required to complete a questionnaire to facilitate the assessment of their application.
For assignments outside of European countries, a valid VISA is necessary. Ensure your passport remains valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of the VIE contract to avoid any delays.
Candidate Profile:
Important Note: This program is primarily designed for international development; therefore, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their country of citizenship.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree from a Business or Engineering School or University with a focus on Financial Markets.
- Prior experience in a financial services or banking environment is advantageous.
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English and Spanish (B2-C1 level).
Technical, Operational & Soft Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Client-focused approach.
VIE Assignment Overview:
This VIE opportunity in Madrid is set to commence as soon as possible, with a preparation period of three months required between application submission and the start of the assignment. The duration of the VIE is 12 months.
The VIE is a unique contract governed by Business France's eligibility criteria, available to candidates under 28 years of age from member states of the European Economic Area. For additional information, including financial compensation details, please refer to Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
