We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our cross-functional team in St. Cugat, Spain. As a key member of our Instrument Integration Sub Chapter, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases for complex functions and features, collaborating with the product definition team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in feature teams and contribute to the definition of new features and functions, providing expert knowledge and ensuring clarity and testability of requirements and user stories.
- Elaborate and define acceptance criteria with stakeholders to ensure alignment and decision-making for verification results.
- Create, maintain, and review complex software test cases across all lifecycle phases, considering customer workflows.
- Plan, execute, and document test cases, including defect reporting and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical leadership and knowledge sharing in the area of expertise, supporting less experienced team members.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position, with profound knowledge of processes and methods in verification and validation of systems, ideally in the regulated IVD environment.
- Master's degree (MSc) or Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant technical or biomedical field, such as informatics, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related discipline.
- Ability to contribute to team collaboration, inclusion, and sharing ideas, with mutual trust and respect.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or equivalent education.
- Advanced knowledge of test management tools and expert English language skills.
