We are seeking a skilled and driven engineer who will play a crucial role in transitioning innovative products from concept to market while ensuring the highest quality standards for existing offerings. Join a team of experienced engineers committed to developing robust and reliable motion control systems utilizing state-of-the-art development tools and methodologies. The selected engineer will focus on creating and maintaining a suite of resources programmed in Python, including modules and desktop applications in QT.

These resources are designed to facilitate our customers in the commissioning and tuning of our products, such as servo-drivers, feedback sensors, and motors, in a user-friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain a collection of libraries and desktop applications.
  • Produce internal documentation for Ingenia software platforms, covering aspects like architecture and detailed design.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define comprehensive Test Plans for Ingenia software products.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Control/Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented Design using Python.
  • Knowledge of motion control systems, including motor types and feedback sensors.
  • Passionate about the Robotics and Motion Control domain.
  • Familiarity with source code management tools (e.g., Subversion, Git).
  • Experience with software testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel may be required for customer support and installation purposes.
