We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Specialist to join our team at ISGlobal. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing expert input and research support to help us better exploit the scientific contribution of our project.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the correct development of the project from a technical perspective.
- Identify project needs and find solutions to deviations.
- Implement and execute specific analysis pipelines for the project.
- Interpret and present research results.
- PhD in computational biology/bioinformatics or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in comparative genomics/phylogenetics projects.
- Demonstrable practical knowledge of computer programming languages (python, R, bash).
- Proficiency in processing and analyzing WGS, RNA-seq, and other relevant datasets.
- Experience with software version control, Nextflow technologies, and/or HPC environments is a plus.
- A dynamic and collaborative research environment.
- The opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project with a multidisciplinary team.
