Dehn is a German software company with a rich history of protecting systems against electrical damage. With a mission to safeguard and preserve lives, they are expanding to Spain and seeking a talented Solutions Architect to join their engineering team.

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of our cloud-based infrastructure. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate with our German team to fortify and enhance our existing infrastructure, leveraging automation to eradicate vulnerabilities and minimize downtime.

Your expertise will play a pivotal role in crafting a roadmap that will guide our Spanish team as they embark on their assignments. This is a long-term project that not only presents challenges but also offers exciting opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex solution architectures, particularly with AWS and Azure cloud architectures.
  • Work with our Cloud Architectures to ensure cloud security principles and best practices are implemented.
  • Participate in the Solution Architecture Design and Implementation, focusing on implementing complex solution architectures.
  • Implement cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation using Confluence and arc42/c4.
  • Collaborate with our agile teams, including our lead software architect, service and support manager, and corporate IT.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, with expertise in AWS and Azure cloud architectures.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex solutions in a cloud environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience with Terraform (or similar) and programming skills with Python, Java, or Typescript.
  • DevOps expertise, including knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based data storage and analytics.
  • Containerization skills, including Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Clear technical documentation expertise and experience working under Agile methodologies.
