Job Summary

Vèringer Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Senior Welding and NDT Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the development and management of the technical area of welding and non-destructive testing (NDE) at the departmental level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, clarify, and validate documentation from various manufacturers related to welding procedures, thermal treatments, non-destructive testing, pressure testing, and equipment leakage procedures.
  • Provide technical support to discipline leaders during the bid submission phase, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and technical dossier verification.
  • Support discipline leaders in the development of pipe and equipment material inspection plans (ITPs) and provide technical guidance during project execution.
  • Offer technical support for quality control surveillance (QCS) on welding and NDT-related issues, including activation and inspection.
  • Occasionally participate in meetings with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients as required by the project.

Requirements

  • Accreditation as an International Welding Engineer (IWE) or related field is mandatory.
  • International NDT accreditation (level II) is required for WPS validation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and MS Project or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with French and/or Italian being valuable assets.
