Job Title: Real Estate Structured Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Structured Finance Analyst to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our Real Estate Structured Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the origination and execution of real estate structured finance transactions in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial analysis and modeling of considered projects, preparing and customizing financial models supporting financing mandates.
  • Conduct relevant risk analysis and understand all issues relevant for real estate financings (context, constraints related to the assets and/or the legal and tax environment).
  • Prepare credit applications, ensuring that internal requirements and guidelines are met (risk metrics, profitability metrics, regulatory requirements with regular update of internal platforms which monitor these metrics).
  • Negotiate term sheets and loan documentation.
  • Closing of transactions.
  • Preparing information memoranda.
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge of the Real Estate sector, including current transactions and opportunities in the market (data search and market intelligence).
  • Participate in the marketing and origination efforts of structured debt business opportunities.
  • Ensure the ongoing risk-monitoring of existing loans.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Master's degree in Finance is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 minimum). French would be a plus.
  • Genuine interest in Real Estate field and knowledge of the real estate market.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of rigor.
  • Proactivity and strong reliability.
  • Accountability.
  • Willingness to learn and succeed with a positive attitude.
  • Highly motivated individual and team player.
