We are seeking an experienced Events Marketing Manager to join our team at Canonical. As an Events Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a list of events that Canonical should participate in, based on primary research and input from team members.
- Set relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure individual event effectiveness and justify spend.
- Source best possible deals to maximize visibility and minimize costs.
- Provide full logistical support to all events globally, with occasional travel to major events.
- Be responsible for event budget planning and execution, constantly monitoring and adjusting it accordingly.
- Create systems to measurably improve event effectiveness over time.
- Experience in B2B events organization (trade shows, customer events, webinars, etc.).
- Excellent academic results, with a Bachelor's or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
- Hands-on mindset and a passion for experimentation.
- Growth mindset - enthusiasm for challenges and a work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Objectivity and openness to others' views while continuously building a positive team spirit.
- Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
