Key Responsibilities- Crisis Management: Lead the crisis management protocols for our students in Barcelona and collaborate with our global crisis management team to ensure effective response and resolution.
- Student Support: Provide proactive support to students' physical and mental health needs, including developing wellness plans and making referrals to professionals as needed.
- Escalated Issues: Manage escalated student issues, such as disciplinary matters, roommate disputes, and program concerns.
- Custom Programs: Lead the development and implementation of custom programs for individual university partners, working closely with our Boston custom team.
- Program Quality: Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all program and student activities, including student arrival and orientation, activity and center schedule.
- Team Management: Manage one Program and Student Services Coordinator focused on CAPA programming and oversee program budgets and budget reporting.
- Quality Assurance: Review CAPA program elements, such as housing and activities, for quality and monitor student feedback through various sources.
- Representation: Represent Importante Empresa at various events, including arrival and departure parties, mid-term dinners, and special events, and present our programs to university representatives.
- Legal Right to Work: The legal right to work in Spain, as Importante Empresa is not able to sponsor visas or work permits.
- Education and Experience: A minimum of a bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in student services and program management.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead a high-performing team and entrepreneurial thinking with strong people skills.
