Job Title: Space System Engineer

Serco is a leading provider of space services, with a rich history of supporting over 50 space missions on behalf of top space agencies worldwide. About the Role:

We are seeking multiple Space System Engineers to join our team in various locations across Europe, including Prague, Madrid, and Noordwijk. As a Space System Engineer, you will contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure evolution activities, support system development follow-up, and participate in system anomaly review boards.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the technical management of the system and segment infrastructure evolution activities;
  • Support the system development follow-up, system qualification, and acceptance activities;
  • Participate in system anomaly review boards and contribute to the analysis of system anomalies;
  • Analyze requirements traceability from mission level to segment requirements;
  • Prepare acceptance milestones internally and in coordination with external partners;
  • Contribute to trade-offs between deployment and migration approach scenarios;
  • Represent EUSPA in relevant boards and provide assessments of changes to be implemented in the system;
  • Produce and maintain up-to-date physical architecture diagrams.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering;
  • 2-10 years of relevant experience in space system and segment infrastructure design and development;
  • Experience in GNSS, particularly on Galileo and EGNOS;
  • Experience with COMSEC items and PRS information;
  • Availability to go on missions;
  • Comfortable working in a diverse and multinational team environment;
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset;
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU and obtain a EU Security Clearance.
