As a Design Engineer - Mechanical Systems, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing mechanical design solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain mechanical design deliverables, including specifications, drawings, and lists, to ensure compliance with user requirements and regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate aspects of constructability, operability, maintainability, and safety into design activities.
* Define and estimate costs for design activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budget constraints.
* Analyze and mitigate the impact of design changes on time, cost, and resources.
* Develop and maintain databases of suppliers, installers, equipment, components, and materials.

Requirements:

* MSc in Industrial Engineering or BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
* Spanish native speaker and English business fluent (min B2).
* At least 5-year experience in similar position, demonstrable expertise and responsibility in mechanical and piping facilities design and/or erection within industrial environments.
* Experience in design of utility systems such as plant steam, clean steam, reverse osmosis, purified waters, compressed air, cooling water, pharmaceutical grade gases and chemicals, HVAC and wastewater treatment.
* Knowledge of main international design standards for equipment, machinery & facilities (ASME, UNE-EN-ISO...) and Spanish industrial safety regulations.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical sanitary design and regulations such as FDA cGMP, ASME-BPE and ISPE guidelines is a must.
* Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Excel.
* Ability to analyze large and complex data sets.
* Effective influencing and persuading abilities.
* Understands business impact of decisions.
* Positive, proactive, diligent, engaged and accessible/open to dialogue person
