Job Summary

International Schools Partnership Limited is seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Teacher to join our team at El Altillo International School. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the French curriculum to Secondary & Baccalaureate students, with a focus on curriculum development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students, ensuring maximum engagement and clear opportunities for pupils to develop key linguistic skills and processes.
  • Review lessons and resources regularly to ensure they meet the highest standards and provide a positive learning experience for students.
  • Prepare and set tests, including a baseline assessment test at the beginning of the course, to measure student progress and achievement.
  • Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in their class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all students.
  • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher's professional position.
  • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, other staff, and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.
  • Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach.
  • Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes, and planning.
  • Be accountable for the attainment, progress, and outcomes of pupils you teach.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching French to Secondary & Baccalaureate students.
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
