About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-Powertrain and ICE Transmission Development Engineer to join our team at AVL Software and Functions GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the logic of different functions, following up on implementation with OEM suppliers, and carrying out validation of these functions during all phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and propose countermeasure directions for concerns
  • Make technical reports and presentations
  • Build material for review milestones

Requirements

  • A degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with a high degree of experience
  • Experience in electronics for automatic transmissions or electrified powertrains (2+ years is a plus)
  • Experience in automotive diagnosis and CAN monitoring
  • Strong interest in planning and management-related activities
  • Proactivity, commitment, and sense of urgency
  • Experience in CAN system analysis and diagnosis tools
  • Good level of English
