Your Role:
As a Software Engineer specializing in requirements definition for critical software development, you will focus on one of the following key responsibilities:
- C++ Code Evaluation: Perform comprehensive assessments of C++ source code, analyzing structures, classes, functions, and algorithms. Understand programming logic, identify design patterns, and assess code efficiency and scalability.
- Low-Level Requirements (LLR) Assessment and Code Comparison: Systematically compare LLRs with the corresponding C++ source code to ensure precision and consistency. Conduct thorough inspections to confirm that each LLR accurately reflects the coded functionalities and procedures. Document any discrepancies and propose revised LLR formulations that align with the source code analysis.
- LLR Generation and Validation via AI Based on C++ Source Code: Supervise the generation of LLRs through AI, ensuring that inputs from C++ source code are clear, comprehensive, and structured for precise AI interpretation. Validate LLRs after generation to ensure they meet software development standards and system engineering practices, accurately representing the technical specifications of the C++ source code.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in software engineering, particularly with substantial C++ development, analysis, and requirements management.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and validating software requirements against C++.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with partitioned system architectures and their application in critical software development.
- Experience with DOORS.
- Background in aerospace software systems.
- Knowledge of DO-178C.
- Experience with generative AI technologies.
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
