About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our Quality Control Sample Management team at Importante Empresa. As a key member of our Quality Control Lab Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the team and ensuring that all sample management-related activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of up to +/-10 direct reports and be accountable for their performance and development.
- Ensure that all departmental activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Oversee all critical activities and ensure adequate priority setting accordingly.
- Deal with any deviations, corresponding CAPAs, investigations, and internal and external inspections.
- Represent the lab in cross-departmental teams and QC Cascade DRI.
- Manage the planning and resource allocation of the team.
- Prioritize, escalate, and ensure stakeholders are aware of deliverables and timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the lab in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
