Commodity Procurement Specialist

Adecco is seeking a skilled Commodity & Project Buyer to join a leading industrial company in Linares. This role involves strategic purchasing, international supplier negotiation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead procurement management for specific projects and commodities during the development phase.
- Manage requests for quotations (RFQs) with the supplier base to ensure quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) excellence.
- Act as the point of contact for project management and communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the global purchasing team to define strategies and supplier award processes.
- Develop and update purchasing strategies for assigned commodities from the tender and development phase.
- Manage and optimize supplier relationships, leading transformations in the existing supplier base.
- Track and ensure project-related purchasing costs while identifying and mitigating risks with the supply chain team.
- Propose improvements and share best practices with the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic purchasing within the industrial or manufacturing sector, preferably in an international environment.
- Experience purchasing materials such as steel, plastic, aluminum, fabrics, etc.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes like die casting, plastic injection, painting, and steelwork.
- Fluent English (professional level) is required, and French is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in negotiating with international suppliers.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate with cross-functional groups.
- Availability to work on-site in Linares.
